Today marks a big milestone for our team.
We closed a $12M Series A led by Aleph, with participation from Symbol and Y Combinator. But before we talk about markets, bottlenecks or AI-era sourcing, we want to talk about the people who actually built this.
This raise is built on years of focused execution. We spent countless hours solving the real problems in sourcing: managing RFQ workflows, standardizing drawing formats across systems, and proving that direct manufacturer communication isn’t optional, it’s essential to professional hardware procurement.
Our team stayed focused on one problem: custom parts procurement should not hold back companies building rockets, robots, satellites or anything else pushing the edge of what’s possible. And the only way to fix that was to rebuild the workflow from scratch.
So yes, today is a funding announcement. But it’s also a moment to recognize the engineers, ops teams, support teams, and suppliers who kept us honest, pushed us to improve and helped shape the platform into what it is now.
The problem we’re solving
The gap has been obvious for years. Software teams deploy features and autonomous agents in hours. Hardware teams wait weeks just to get accurate quotes. Not because of lack of talent, but because the sourcing workflow is still stuck in unstructured coordination – PDFs, emails, mismatched specs and manual admin work.
As AI accelerates, that gap has turned into a strategic bottleneck. The robotics market is doubling. The space economy is heading toward two trillion dollars. And every company in those sectors depends on thousands of custom mechanical parts to build real products.
That system was never designed for modern engineering. So we rebuilt it.
How Jiga works
Jiga’s AI-native platform transforms the entire sourcing workflow.
Engineers upload drawings and specs, and the AI automatically extracts requirements, pulls context from communications, and detects potential risks before they escalate. Everything is structured into one transparent environment where teams communicate directly with vetted manufacturers and order parts directly through Jiga, which serves as the vendor of record.
The platform’s AI handles the administrative burden (coordinating communication, managing documentation, ensuring transparent pricing), while humans control the decisions that matter. It’s a real supply chain built on direct relationships with vetted manufacturers, powered by AI that turns weeks of work into hours, at a fraction of the cost.
Why we raised
Even though we were already profitable, demand from aerospace, defense, robotics, and advanced manufacturing teams has been growing fast. These organizations can’t afford sourcing delays. Manual procurement cycles are no longer compatible with the speed of modern engineering.
The Series A allows us to:
- expand premium production capabilities
- deepen AI-driven quality assurance for mission-critical parts
- scale enterprise infrastructure to support larger deployments
What's next
More capacity. More reliability. More support for the most demanding hardware teams in the world. But above all, the same focus we’ve had since day one: help engineers and sourcing teams do their best work without drowning in administrative chaos.
If you’re a customer, a supplier, a partner or a teammate, thank you for helping us reach this point. This raise is fuel for the next chapter, not the finish line.
And if you’re building hardware that needs dependable, high-quality custom parts, you already know why this matters.
Let’s keep moving the industry forward together.
